The Role In a Nutshell
- Work as an integral part of the Design Team to design and contribute to the success of a wide array of high-end residential projects.
- Develop design and construction drawings for residential renovations and additions that are OBC Part 9 Compliant.
- Estimate projects of all types/sizes
- Work closely with clients to ensure that projects are in alignment with both their vision and budget.
- Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to develop project plans/offerings.
- Support projects throughout the construction phase.
- Continuously looking for ways to improve the company’s estimating process.
Experience Required:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Architecture, Construction Technology, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar related field of study.
- 3-5 years in residential design OBC Part 9 (preferably in renovations)
- 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating (Preferably residential renovations)
- Advanced level of experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong level of knowledge of Excel & Estimating Software
- Drivers License and own transportation
